چکیده

This article deals with the dynamic stability of a flexible cable attached at its top end to cart and load mass bottom end. The model is governed by system one partial differential equation coupled two ordinary equations. Assuming that time-dependent delay occurs in boundary, main concern this paper stabilize dynamics as well dynamical terms related mass. To do so, we first prove problem well-posed sense semigroups theory provided some conditions on are satisfied. Thereafter, an appropriate Lyapunov function put forward, which leads exponential decay energy estimate rate.

Boundary Feedback Stabilization of a Nonlinear Flexible Gantry Manipulator Using Disturbance Observer

This paper aims to develop a boundary control solution for a single-link gantry robot manipulator with one axis of rotation. The control procedure is considered with link’s transverse vibrations while system undergoes rigid body nonlinear large rotation and translation. Initially, based on Hamilton principle, governing equations of hybrid motions as a set of partial differential equations...

Boundary Stabilization of Marine Structure

This note addresses the stabilization problem of a marine structure (i.e. cable/riser), connected to a surface vessel at one end and to a thruster unit at the other. Here, only lateral motion is considered. Based on boundary measurements, stabilizing control laws are designed. The controllers consist only on feedback from boundary measurements. The costs are thus minimized and the spillover ins...

Nonreflecting Boundary Conditions for Time-Dependent Scattering

of the ordinary differential equation which occurs in the boundary condition. An exact nonreflecting boundary condition was derived previously for use with the time dependent wave equation in three Finally, we shall solve a sequence of scattering problems space dimensions. Here it is shown how to combine that boundary by using an explicit finite difference method and our condition with finite d...

Transparent Boundary Conditions for Time-Dependent Problems

A new approach to derive transparent boundary conditions (TBCs) for wave, Schrödinger, heat and drift-diffusion equations is presented. It relies on the pole condition and distinguishes between physical reasonable and unreasonable solutions by the location of the singularities of the spatial Laplace transform of the exterior solution. To obtain a numerical algorithm, a Möbius transform is appli...
